Bancroft Middle School staff members will participate in Block Schedule Part 2: Next Steps to Strengthening Learning in the Block Schedule Classes. This workshop will focus on the following:
- Advanced practical strategies for making the most effective use of extended class periods
- What really works in successful block classes: lessons learned from successful block programs
- Proven strategies for keeping students engaged during the whole block, grades 6-12
- Real-life applications, demonstrations, model lessons, sample materials, and an extensive block schedule resource handbook
- How to leverage block schedule when implementing project based learning
